There have been several projects since 2016, where Charteroak (South West) Limited have delivered various solutions for global company, MB Aerospace. One of which was during 2018 where we worked to completely overhaul an existing warehouse area to modern standards and to give the client the ability to re-purpose the area for high level component storage.

 

MB Aerospace, (was formally Centrax Turbine Components established in the 1940’s), have been working in the aero-engine manufacturing technologies arena in Newton Abbot following the purchase of the former family business in 2016. They specialise in the production of performance critical Compressor and Turbine Airfoils using advanced technologies, such as CNC and robotics and were one of the earliest innovators in the use of the technologies.

 

Charteroak (South West) Limited were asked to modernise part of the factory by having the asbestos removed, creating and building new side walls and internal partition walls. Level, non-slip resin flooring was then laid and new safe, secure racking that had to meet specific criteria and adhere to regulations was installed to hold all the specialist components MB Aerospace produce.

 

There have been several projects delivered to MB Aerospace since 2016 and we look forward to working with them again.
