In 2025 the Charteroak (South West) Ltd team successfully completed the refurbishment of the existing in-patient healthcare facility in Ivybridge to create a new health examination check room.

​

The specification required forming a new door opening through from the existing stair lobby, installing a steel lintel and fire door. Construction of new walls and ceilings to reconfigure existing area. Installation of new bases, wall units and worktops to provide a treatment area. Provide and install new vinyl flooring all areas.

For the duration of the works the department remained in use and it was imperative that our team and our partnering contractors on site, liaised with centre staff to ensure that the works were safely undertaken, with minimum disruption to staff and patients alike. Therefore, careful consideration was given to noise and pollution levels throughout the project.
