In 2025 the Charteroak (South West) Ltd team successfully built a modern 4-bedroom detached
house in Kingskerswell. This was our first ever new build and was completed in just 26 weeks.
Getting the project o􀆯 the ground was initially delayed by changes in planning requirements but
despite the setback and the long wait we finally commenced the groundworks in July 2024.

This was an amazing journey for the team, offering our staff the chance to demonstrate their
craftmanship in carpentry and brickwork. We also embraced local contractors to complete the
electrical, plumbing and internal decorative works which were overseen by our Site Supervisors.

Our young Apprentices were also engaged in the work assisting them in improving their skills
and learning from other experienced professionals.
The house was built and finished to a high specification with attention to detail in every part of
the property. Making full use of the footprint within the guidelines of the building plans we
produced a spacious layout which were carefully planned to suit the needs of modern family
life.

The gardens were landscaped with flowered borders and pathed walkways. The garden at the
front provided ample parking leading to the integral garage and utility area. The generous sized
rear garden was designed to have a patio area, lawn and raised flower beds and its lowered
design secluded by fencing, offered a private outlook.
The whole team are proud of their work on the completed house, and it was a pleasure working
with all the professionals who were on the journey with us. We are now excited to pursue more
opportunities, such as this, in the near future.
